Medicaid Rehabilitation Option (MRO) Group Home

  • MRO stands for Medicaid Rehab Option. Participating facilities must be licensed by the Department of Public Health to provide residential services for individuals with a serious and persistent mental illness and must be certified by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services or its agent.     The Group Home at Pathways is a residence for those looking for a lot of special attention with the following:

    • Assigned a Case Manager in-house with an individualized plan of care.

    • 40 hours minimum per month of skill building designed to promote a Path toward independent living in the community

    • House Manager on staff

    • Assistance with household chores (i.e. cooking, laundry, etc) as part of their life-skills education.

    • 24/7 house supervision

    • Peer support

    • M - F, 9am - 2pm participate at The Club’s Day Program

  • Applications open as space becomes available.

Supervised Housing

  • Pathway’s Supervised Housing is similar to the MRO, but with less restrictions. Included is the following:

    • Assigned Case Manager with individualized plan of care

    • 24/7 House Supervision

    • House Manager on staff

    • Assistance with life-skills such as cooking

    • Mandatory to be out in the community or at The Club, M-F, 9am-2pm (Can’t stay at home during this time)

    • No required group sessions

    2. Must be 18 years or older

Supportive & Community Housing

  • A more independent housing options which include the following:

    • Assigned case manager to assist on a need-basis.

    • No requirements to participate in groups, skill building or The Club (but they are always welcome!)

    • Monthly rent is set at a subsidized rate as part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
